Natalie Reid began dancing as an expression of worship in her church, and at the age of eleven, God began speaking to her that she should would someday also lead others in worshipping Him through dance. Worshipping King Jesus & raising up others to do the same has always been her mission, whether in her personal times with the Lord, on stage, in the classroom teaching, or in her many years investing in formal dance training. Natalie's training began in Checcetti ballet and then transitioned to Russian as she trained at Academy of Dance Arts & performed with their student company, Greater Lansing Ballet. She expanded her technical studies in following years to jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, Flamenco, & ballroom, studying with a variety of instructors in Michigan and beyond. She spent one year in a full-time dance conservatory in Jacksonville, FL, where she trained primarily under a former Pittsburg Ballet dancer. During her four years at Hillsdale College, she trained in ballet, modern, and choreography with University of Michigan dance faculty, Melissa Beck, and Jovita Wiebel from the Peter Sparling Dance Company, performing in the college dance company, Tower Dancers, and one of the college musicals. She continued her training in the years following at a variety of classes and workshops, including attended a summer pedagogy intensive at the Alvin Ailey School in Manhattan, studying the Horton modern technique. Natalie has done commissioned choreography for a variety of local organizations and events, including HPA, Mount Hope Church, and Great Lakes Christian College. She opened and ran JubalArts Dance Studio in Grand Ledge for 15 years, serving local families with Christ-honoring dance instruction. Natalie continues to teach dance at a variety of organizations in greater-Lansing, including Lansing Christian School, New Covenant Christian School, St. Mary's School, Kids on Fire ministry, and of course, Great Commission! Natalie loves to teach, and especially has a heart to help equip other dance teachers and leaders to raise up a great host of worshippers who are devoted to our wonderful Savior, Jesus.

Heyyyy!!! My name is Niki Bryant. God created me with a passion for dance and a love for people. I enjoy mixing the two by building genuine relationships and sharing the love of Christ while teaching Hip Hop. My passion for creating choreography started at a young age where I spent endless hours in my bedroom rehearsing my own routines over and over again. This mentality lead me to where I am now, having 10 + years of dancing and teaching advanced and competitive hip hop at local dance studios, Central Michigan University, along with multiple organization awareness events and talent show performances. In addition to dance, I appreciate the simple things in life: quality time with family and friends, being in nature, fitness, food, and spending time with my pups! I also love to LAUGH- laughter is one of the greatest gifts. I feel very blessed and excited to have the opportunity to join the Great Commission team this year, and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you! Come jam with me!! 🎶

After moving to Michigan, she danced with the Children’s Ballet Theatre of Michigan and JubalArts Dance Studio. She also taught ballet for four years at JubalArts, and felt so fortunate to incorporate her faith into her dancing and teaching there. She feels blessed to be teaching again at a Christ-centered dance studio and sharing her love of ballet with her students.

I began dancing when I was four years old at our local dance studio, and danced throughout my higshcool years. As a child I loved to dance, sing, and perform in musicals in local theaters playing the part of, Alice, in Alice in Wonderland and, Mary Poppins, in Broadway Review. Having parents who supported my interests I was privileged to finish my high school career graduating from a private boarding school, Interlochen Arts Academy, in Northern Michigan, where I took ballet as an elective. Attending an additional post-graduate year as a Voice Major with an emphasis in Classical Perfomance and Opera Workshop playing the role of, Mercedes, in Carmen and, Eponine, (Les Miserables) in Interlochens Best of Broadway Production. I then went on to attend Alma College graduating in 2004 with a BFA degree in Visual Art majoring in painting and sculpture. After college I attended one year of ministry training at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas. Shortly after I reunited with my high school sweetheart and after marrying we both attended four years of Bible Training Institute at Mount Hope Church in Lansing, MI. In that time we were blessed with two beautiful girls. I was welcomed on staff at Jubal Arts Dance & Music Studio as a dance instructor from 2019-2022.
I am so excited to continue teaching dance with Great Commission Studios, and especially excited to combine this art medium with my theatrical side!

Vadis Pekrul has been dancing since she was six years old with an emphasis on Tap. As she grew in her love and capabilities to dance she joined the competition track and competed in all genres of dance for 7 years. God gently convicted her of the compromises she was making in order to compete and moved her to train on her own in 2021. Independently she competed as a Tap soloist for a year earning prestigious awards but quickly she realized nothing compares to the glorious riches found in Christ. He eventually closed the door to competition revealing that that type of dance was no longer His will for her. Patiently waiting to know why dance was a part of Vadis’ life, the Lord inspired her to choreograph a Worship Production. God made it clear she could use her gift of dance for His glory. God generously opened the door to Great Commission Studios and she is so excited to be able to use her gifting to teach dancers how they too can worship Him through dance.
Janae has been dancing for 9 years and had the opportunity to study a variety of styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and musical theater. She loves being able to express herself through dance to worship the Lord and bring glory to Him. She is so blessed and excited to be able to share her love of dance and teach others to glorify God through that!
